now the requirement is for sap lumira is it compatible with IPS and bods

can we go ahead and install sap lumira server addition on the same server.

i was going through the installation guide it ask to uninstall IPS

"You have uninstalled SAP BusinessObjects BI Add-on for SAP Lumira Server for HANA before proceeding with SAP Lumira, server for BI Platform installation. For more information, see 2193940 .

● You have uninstalled Information Platform Service(IPS) and Crystal Server set up before proceeding with SAP Lumira, server for BI Platform installation."

Kindly suggest best practice to go ahead.

Hi Ludek ,

Thanks for the update i would like to know can we setup the lumira server on the different server and connect or its not supporting 4.2 sp4.

and when we try connecting lumira desktop edition also its not connecting is that also not supported. its giving the error as below

It was not possible to establish an SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform user session. Check the user name and password. (HDB 05401)

same user id and password is working in cmc. i have gone through the snote :

IPS is not a supported platform, please do review provided link to PAR.
You need a full fledged BI Platform for Lumira to work with it.
IPS is not it.

Lumira is not supported in your environment at all. Please see the Lumira PAM:
