    Hi,

It creates a BOX on the selection screen.

And the box will be titled with the text that is there in the text element

    f58.

Use menu option Goto->Text elements->Text Symbols. in Se38.

There you can see f58 there.

    Regards,

    Sesh

    Hi.

selection-screen is the key-word to have a creen for the report.

when u say selection-screen, system wil generate the screen (screen no. will be 1000)

If u want to creat the block on the screens then u can use the statement

    SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BOLCK Block_name

WITH FRAME TITLE is the option . u can use this option if u want to have any title for that block.

U can assing title of the block in 2 diffrent ways

    1) By using the number text

In this case u use with frame title TEXT-any_Digit_no.

    example TEXT-f58

double click on F58, u will get a screen

    F58 ?

now u remove the question mark and write ur text this text will be appear as a title on ur block of ur screen when u execute your program.

    2) SELECTION-SCREEN begin of block aaj with frame title 'ABC'

here ABC is variable and u need to assing some values(text which u want as title) to this variable u can assing this only with INITIALIZATION event

    INITIALIZATION.

    ABC = ' ur test'.

    Hope this clear your doubt.

a frame will be displayed whatever select-options you write until you end this block will displayed inside this outer line...

Now coming to title, each frame can be given a title name.

    Ex: something like this

    _______________________

    color "TITLE |

    | o Yellow | --> One bolck

    o RED

    -

    I guess you understood..

    hi,

To create a logical block of elements on the selection screen, we use the statement like...

    SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK <block>
                                                       WITH FRAME
                                                       TITLE <title>

    **** here define fields
    SELECTION-SCREEN END OF BLOCK <block>.

You must define a <block> name for each block. Blocks of elements can be nested.

If you use the WITH FRAME addition, a frame is drawn around the block.

If you use TITLE, you can assign a title to each block frame. <title> can be a text symbol or a field name with a maximum length of eight characters.
