SAP Design Studio 1.6 Bookmarks

Hell Friends,

We have DS 1.6 app in production where users create their bookmarks and it works fine until we have a change in this app and when this change is prompted from dev to prod, all user's bookmarks disappear in prod? Is this how it is supposed to work and every time we promote a change, users need to re-create their bookmarks? If the production bookmarks should remain there after promotion then why is not working for us?

Hi Abdul,

If you are using Fragment or Portable Fragment Bookmarks, the solution to your issue is provided in SAP Note 2316517 - Design Studio: Bookmarks become obsolete after Promoting Design Studio Applicatio....

If you are using Standard Bookmarks, then the behaviour you have observed that these bookmarks become obsolete after changing an application is by design. I would recommend implementing Fragment or Portable Fragment Bookmarks to avoid this.
