SAP HANA Tool for eclipse: cannot connect to tenant db

I m using neon and the latest version of the tool. From within sap corporate network, it works fine. But from outside, I can only connect to system db, but I cannot connect to tenant db. It could not be the db itself since I have tried multiple hana instances.

Any suggestions?

    Most probably, when you are outside the corporate network some ports are being blocked. HANA tenant dbs are using different ports than systemdb.

    Hi Bartosz,

    I would not say it is because of port being blocked. I can query my instance programmatically using node js hdb. (xsa application)
