SAP BI/BW Career

I've been working for three years as a SAP BW/BI consultant at different projects. I've performed different tasks - from simple monitoring of process chains and solving the related issues, to creating new reports or taking part into warehouse architecture elaboration.

Now I find myself in lack of "basic" knowledge of any particular area of Business Intelligence and I don't see a proper career path. Looking at the most qualified BW consultants among my collegues, I understand that for advancing in exactly warehousing/architecture it is necessary to know program languages and to know a great deal of data bases concepts. I don't see myself in so "technical" area.

I would rather go in analytics field - Business Analysis, Reports, Business Processes. And there I've stumbled on the obstacle - I don't really know where to start. I mean what should I learn to bring my career onto the right track: concepts of Business Processes or SAP Business Scenarios, or should I polish my SAP BI Knowledge, or should I pay attention on gathering requirements. Or maybe I should start with something different. I realize that probably all I've mentioned will be useful, but still I'll be very thankful to you for giving me a guiding line.

Pieces of advice about books, courses, materials are very welcome.

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,
