Sale Damge Material

Dear All

My Company is producing 5 different flavor of Chips in 4 SKU each. Some Finished Goods return from customers due to damage or near to expire.

Production plant received damaged Finished Goods. Now the want to sale scrap FG in 3 breakup items i.e.main Chips material in loose; while packing material separately in two different items, rapers & cartons.

Chips Finished Goods Base unit: PAC

Loose Chips and other packing material: KG

Please guide me how to map this in SAP.

Hello,

You can use handling units to pack your FGs. You can also use automatic packing functionality at time of creating delivery to customer.

Cannot you simply create a production order and "disassemble" the finish goods (finish product and packaging material are the components and the products you sell as scrap are the header material / by-products)?

We sale our Finished Goods via Sales Order.
Finished Goods belongs to Finished Product material type

Material Type is different if we wanna sale these (scrap) material. Like Rapers & Carton as a packaging material.

How you sale your Finished goods and Finished goods belong to what material type?

What is material type for Loose chips and other packing material?

You maintain BOM for Finished goods with other material codes, then materials returned- you can sale individually each one with a sales order to your customer- if materials of material type is similar to FERT( must have sales views).
