SAP Fiori SSO Kerberos - IE 11 issue when SPNEGO fails (external network)

Hi community,

we are using SAP Fiori SSO with SPNEGO setup with Microsoft AD. This works quite fine also using an external URL within our internal network after SPN were configured correctly.

Now if we try to access the Fiori Launchpad via an external network the Logon page should be prompted. This works with all browsers and mobile browser. As we use IE11 as company standard we now should be able to login with our user+password.

When we enter the user+password in IE11 and "Logon" the logon is prompted again with blank fields. If we try again and again still the same issue. We tried it with Chrome, Firefox and mobile devices and there it works as it should an we are logged in ! So this issue seems to be limited to IE11.

Is there any known bug that IE11 can't handle the logon procedure when it cannot obtain the Kerberos token ?
