BPC 10.1 Standard: Environment Transport from development did not reflect in quality

Hello Experts,

We have been trying to transport the BPC 10.1 Standard Environment from development to quality for the first time. We Created TR request by navigating RSA1>Transport Connecter> More types>Environment>selection of relevant environment as object. We have selected all the objects within that particular environment and created the TR.

Now Transport request has been successfully imported into quality system but we cannot see the BPC objects within RSA1. Neither we can login to BPC web client as it shows as null environment.

We have noticed that all the transportable objects has been captured on temporary package(not transportable) by default. Could this be the reason?

Kindly suggest.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Sudip Pandey

I believe note below could help.

Note 2388783 No object is transported though the import status shows success

Cause 1: Update the TLOGO by either of the following:

  • Run program UJT_TLOGO_REGISTER via T-code SE38.
  • Re-activate EnvironmentShell according to Note 1615644 if EnvironmentShell is not activated yet.

Cause 2:

  1. Run transaction RSTPRFC to maintain BW RFC.
  2. Then you will see a new entry inserted in table RSTPRFC.
  3. Run authorization test for the BW RFC from transaction SM59. See Guided Answer for the details on how to run the test.

Usually when you assign the objects to the transport request, the transport connection will request a package for those objects.

The fact that they're under a $TMP is probably because select the environment but haven't select the objects within. Trying following the same procedure, but after dragging the environment to the right hand side, click with the right button and select "Transport all below".
