Multiple Storage type for a part number during check in?

My current warehouse has multiple Storage Type but i can only assign one storage type to a part number hence once the assigned storage type has ran out of location it would return "NO-LOC" despite having empty location under different storage type, are there any methods to tackle this issue for example assigning multiple storage type to a single part number at mmo2 so that it would automatically search for location at other storage type once the assigned storage has ran out of location?

You only maintain a storage type view in the material master if you use fixed bin In any other case is this view not needed.

And in no other WM view is a field to enter a storage type, instead you have fields to enter storage type indicators for putaway and picking.

And you have customizing where you define per storage type indicator in which storage types the system searches for bins.
