how to transfer vendor master from one company code to another company code. can u explain in brief,

Hi Bhaskar

Its is not that you can transfer your master (either Vendor or Customer) to another company code. It is that you can utilized same vendor General data to the the other company code.

The Vendor and Customer masters have General data, Company code data and sales/purchase organization data.

The General data remains at Client level which can be utilized by any company code in the same client.

Hello,

You can extend vendor master from one company code to another with transaction XK01. Enter vendor code, new company code. In the reference fields enter same vendor number and the old company code.
