Standard RFC for table

Dear all,

In most of our interfaces we are using RFC_READ_TABLE to get the response back from R/3 table. But we are seeing that there are lot of short dumps in R/3 system. But the interface doesn't error out anywhere. Its running perfectly. I doesn't know how to solve it. I heard from my friends that RFC_READ_TABLE will not be supported by SAP if there is an issue, b'coz its developed for testing purpose. Is it true? Could you guys share ur thoughts!!

Raj,

Please check OSS notes 382318. It says that it was only created to be used as a sample in various training courses, and is clearly flagged as "not released for customer".

Hi Raj !

I've read the same about the RFC_READ_TABLE, that it is for internal use only. We developed our own RFCs, and everything works great.
