How do end-users run BPS application

All -

I wanted to know how are end-users running these BPS applications that developers are building. Are they actually logging into SAP and using upx_exec or are they running these on the web. If they are running them on the web, can someone please tell me how to do this. I know there is a link in upx_mntn that I can use but my application behaves differently when I run in in IE compared to when I run it via upx_exec. Is it possible that I can add the upx_exec transaction to a role that I create in pfcg?

Hi,

For planning applications created using WIB, a link is generated and this is either mapped to intranet or portal. So by choosing the link the planning applications are accessed.

They will be executing transaction code UPSPL for SAP GUI.

Or

the web interface URL if they use web.

The Web interface URL is the one that you find in upx_mntn, correct? The problem with using this link is that the application doesn't behave correclty. for example, I have created a FOX formula which does some validation with the numbers the users keyed in. If something is incosistant, then they get an error message that pops up and are not able to save the data but the numbers are still visible in the cells. When I run the Fox formula in the WEb, and something in inconsistant, the numbers don't get saved but they also disapear from the cells.
