Hi Team,

I see this below error in event logs.

Faulting application name: XComms.exe, version: 7.0.10664.0, time stamp: 0x58a61331 Faulting module name: dboledb16.dll, version: 16.0.0.2076, time stamp: 0x54d3bb9f Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x0000a0f7 Faulting process id: 0x316c Faulting application start time: 0x01d30cff0d0e7c49 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Afaria\bin\XComms.exe Faulting module path: c:\program files\sql anywhere 16\bin32\dboledb16.dll Report Id: 57201a75-78f2-11e7-891f-005056003966

When i checked the dboledb16.dll and properties its version is 16.0.0.2076 Product version 16.0.0.2076 (32-bit) however we have SQL Anywhere 17 installed in our database server.

Is this causing the issue?

Regards,

VP

Do you use database of which version? (16 or 17)
Can you uninstall database which you do not use? Please try that.

Thanks,
Atsushi

You said that mixed version 16 and version 17.

> Faulting module path: c:\program files\sql anywhere 16\bin32\dboledb16.dll
This path is version 16. Did you install version 16?
Do you use version 16 by the other system?

When you use version 17, can you uninstall version 16?

I have never seen such Afaria bug.

Following KBA resembles your message, but I think that it is a different problem.

KBA which you shared is totally different from my Issue.

Here the point of SQL16, we need to focus on the extact error.

Please assist,

Please marshal this problem.
1. When this message was output, did Afaria have a problem?
2. I listened to that you did not install version 16.
However, the following path are version 16.
Faulting module path: c:\program files\sql anywhere 16\bin32\dboledb16.dll

I do not understand the reason why Afaria refers to the module of version 16.

Can you confirm the following?
Control Panel > Program and Function > SQL Anywhere **

Which version is there in SQL Anywhere?

2. We didn't installed version 16.

I can confirm its Control Panel > Program and Function > SQL Anywhere 17

Did you test same Policy with the other device? When the other device does not have any problem, you should compare each device.

Is this device iOS? You should check console log.

In the case of Android device

You should confirm what happens in these log.
