Merge cells in excel attachment using XML code

Hello guys,

I have an requirement in which i need merge cells of first column in excel output which will be send via mail as an attachment...

For formatting i am using XML coding which i took reference through below mentioned link...

But i didnt find any option to merge cells into one.. and i dont know what thing i need to pass in format or style which should resolve my problem

it would be great if you can help me out with this..

    ABAP2XLSX is an option.
