Universe Connection is not responding , showing TNS :no listener

Hi All,

Recently ,I done the Universe along with associated connection upgrade from R3 to R4 and upgrade has been completed successfully .

Now , when I click on test connection in universe , the connection is not responding in R4 and it is showing as TNS : no Listener.

My user wants me to check Host name & Port number information of connection are correct on BO BI4 QA server?

Kindly check the attached screen shot (same issue getting in R3 also ) and let me know the process to follow to solve this issue.

Tcheck whether your tnsnames.ora snd sqlnet.ora giles are configured correctly fir your oracle sid. Also check oracle client versions 32/64 bit

Check if you are able to do a TNSPing from the machine where designer is installed.
