Disasssemble Material to Components

I have an obsolete assembled material. Now the components itself should be sold and therefore this assembly need to be disassembled. I have never seen this process in SAP so I can only think of a manual process without subcon P/O.

also we didn't implement PP.

Does anyone knows it better?

Hi,

One very basic option is to write-off the item and then write on the components, using MB1B.

I find that this is OK for most scenarios.

You could of course develop something that is far more complex but you have to make sure that the extra benefits would justify the cost.

One nice option is a simple ABAP where you enter the item to be disassembled and the program checks the BOM and posts the write-off and write-on movements all automatically. This makes it user friendly and controlled.

Actually i created two movements one to issue assembly material (201) and the other one to receive components (202 ) .but problem is there is no link between two documents and also i can't restrict difference in values suppose i issued material with map=100 USD and received 2 materials with 150 USD .also this consumption account is P & L but client want it as Balance sheet account to settele it.
