I have just taken over management of a dual stack PI system on ABAP 730 SP14
The attributes of the ABAP support packs suggest that they are equivalent to the ABAP 731 SP17 support packs; i.e.
SAPKB73014 ==> SAP_BASIS,731:SAPKB73117,0017
SAPK-73014INPIBASIS ==> PI_BASIS,731:SAPK-73117INPIBASIS,0017
etc
It appears that, based on this logic, previous BASIS support have managed to upgrade the JAVA stack components to NW 731 SP17.
As far as I can tell, there's no issue, but the management have said they would like to see the ABAP stack show that it's at NW 731 SP17 as well. I believe there's an SAP Note 1681435 (currently unreleased) that describes how to do this for an upgrade from NW703 to NW731, but has anyone had experience with doing this for other upgrade / support pack combinations ?
