What is meant by RefID in default values of Workcentre ?
Dear Patil,
The RefID in the default values of the workcentre is used to freeze the particular value when you call that work centre in a task list. Meaning if this indicator is ticked in the WC creation, during your creation or change of a task list, the values will automatically get copied against that work centre and it will not allow the user to change that value.

Hi,
For eg: In t.code cr02 for work center enter the control key as pp01 in default values tab & then tick the REFID indicator.
Then create a routing & enter the work center, the control key will be copied & will be in display (grey) mode, you cannot change it.
In cr02 remove the REFID indicator & then create a routing, now you can change the control key from pp01 to pp02.

Hi,
This setting is useful for default settings in routings for control key etc.
If u set it for indicator system will not allow to change this setting in routing. It will be grayout.
It is for security purpose. If u want any changes u have to chage it in work cnter only.In routing it will not allowed.

Suhas
