Hi,
The BPM is new.
XI 3.0 comes with a new adapter engine running within the SAP J2EE server. The adapter engine of XI 2.0 based on J2SE (standard Java application) remains in place.
Adapters (3.0) running within the J2EE engine will be configurable from the Integration Directory.
- new Adapter frame work architecture with J2EE
- better mapping abillity compare to 2.0
- new Module BPM if one need it
- Configuration of the adapter from the directory
One of the migrations can be in Adapter...
We recommend migrating XI 2.0 adapters to the XI 3.0 Adapter Framework, since the XI 2.0 interfaces are no longer supported after XI 3.0 and in some cases the XI 2.0 adapters are not executable in later releases.
