ME2N: Creating a variant with a specific layout

Hi,

I would like to have specific layouts (different output field organization, matched to different users` needs) attached to Variants I have created for users.

I know it is possible to change the layout once report has been executed, but what I would like to have is the option to have a desired layout displayed automatically upon selection of a Variant - just like I can do, for example, in reports CJI3 or CN52N, where in the parameter screen I can choose a desired layout and save it WITHIN a variant I create.

Is this possible for the ME2x reports - ME2N, ME2L, ME2M, ME2J and others? And if so, How?
