For a STO ,the stock type in MIGO not defaulting to Quality Inspection!!!!!

Hi All,

Here is the scenario.It's an Intracompany STO .While GR ,the stock type is not showing Quality Insection but instead shows "Unrestricted".After the GR is posted the stock is then going to Quality Inspection(with Inspection lot created).Which is desired since all the settings in Material Master have been maintained related to QM view.So that's fine.

The only concern is why then at GR it is not showing as Quality Insspection as stock type.

The STO(UB Del Type) is two step involving Mvt.Type 641 and then GR 101.

Both the supplying plant and recieving plant has QM maintained.

Also FYI,for all the other order types like Process order or production order ,the system is defaulting to Quality Inspection by default.It's only for this order type that the system is not SHOWING quality Inspection as default in GR.

Which makes me think that there must be something related to oreder type which is making "unrestricted "stock type as default .(...may be)

Please spend some time on this based on ur expierences and guide me with your valuable inputs.
