SRM MDM 1.0 Vs 2.0

Is any one using SRM-MDM 2.0? It suppose to be available (unrestricted shipment) on July 2nd and not sure it's status. we are upgrading to SRM 5.5 and thinking of using MDM. any thoughts on MDM 1.0 Vs MDM 2.0. any information (lessons learned) on MDM 2.0 will be much appreciated.
