Delete Service Desk Messages

Hi All-

I am having some difficulty deleting support messages from our Solution Manager 4.0 system. I have read all related threads on this forum however I have yet to successfully delete a support message.

I have tried 2 methods.

Method 1:

-Transaction Dnotif

-Enter Support Message

-Click the Change button

-Change the Status to Complete Notification

-Click the Save button

-Change the Status to Mark for Deletion

-Click the Save button

-Copy report CRM_ORDER_DELETE

-Change the line: parameters: no_check type crmt_boolean default false no-display. to parameters: no_check type crmt_boolean default false. ""no-display

-Execute report with Transaction Type SLF1

With this method I encounter an error "Purchasing Documents cannot be deleted"

Method 2:

-Transaction Dnotif

-Enter Support Message

-Click the Change button

-Change the Status to Complete Notification

-Click the Save button

-Change the Status to Mark for Deletion

-Click the Save button

-Create a report "Z_DELETE_BASIC_NOTIFICATIONS" per note 566225

With this method only the contents within the Overview tab are deleted. The support message is not completed deleted from the queue in Transaction Monitor.

Has anyone had success with completely deleting service desk messages via these methods, or any other methods?
