Cannot Delete or Change a model in Visual Composer-Locked

Hi Guys,

I was creating a model in Visual Composer and due to the system slow down, I logged off while I am working on the model.

Now when I logged in again i get the screen saying do you want to open the model as Read Only. when I go to Manage Models and try to delete it I cannot as it says Failed to Delete the model, is Locked by the User.

I am doing this without any model open in the window still I cant. Can somebody please help me how to delete the model?

It also says cannot delete because the model has been opened by another user with same user name whereas I am the only user working on it.

Thank you.

Which version of Visual Composer are you using ? In version 7.00, you have a button to unlock the models. This button is only shown when you have not opened a model yet.

If the button is not available, you can unlock it in the portal via system administration - monitoring - portal - lock overview.

P.S. There's a separate forum on visual composer.

Kind regards,

Luc

Go to tCode sm12 and delete your locked object there. Make sure you delete your own job because there may be other processes from other users running.

If you do not have permission to tcode sm12, you can go to sm04 and click session==> end session.

Hope this'll solve ur problem.

Hi David,

It didnt work.

I am working on Visual Composer. Developing iViews and deploying them in Enterprise Portal. I dont see any of the models under the T-Codes sm41, sm04 in BI.

I am wondering can we access the iViews created in Visual Composer, in BI?

The problem of locked objects i am getting is in Visual Composer, not in BI. I may not understand the relation between BI and Visual Composer iViews/Models.

But please correct me if i am wrong.
