1) what is use of BPM Tell me one scenario.
2) Tell me one abap proxy scenario
Hi ganga,
1) It all depends upon the Business Scenerio
One of the Scenerio When we need to collect messages in XI we will use BPM
BPM stands for Business Process Management .Simply we will cal as CCBPM .
An integration process ( Or Business Process ) defines which messages are processed and how. The definition, configuration, execution, monitoring of an integration processes are all integrated in SAP Exchange Infrastructure.
for case study on BPM go thru this blog:

Take a look at this blog for some very good guidelines on when to use BPM's and when not to use BPM,

Ganga,
We will use BPM gnerally to collect messages. Let say u want to collect some 1000 files and need to send to Legacy system or IDOC etc... In this case since u want to collect messages we will go for BPM.

Consider RFC to File Scenario or RFC to xxxx scenario . In this case from R/3 system u have to trigger an RFC and in XI Side we need Sender RFC adapter. If your WAS 6.20 and above then u can go for proxies. Instead of creating sender RFC adpter everything , u can create proxies and directly post the message to XI Integration Server. So it will be more efficient than the above mentioned using RFC adapter. But all depends on the specifications.
Hope it helps!!!
Best regards,
raj.
