RSRT - Query Optimization - Not visible drilldown characteristics

Dear all,

Running transaction RSRT - Query Optimization - for a specific query and pressing "Technical Information" option, on the "Not visible drilldown characteristics" - "Free Chars", I got a YELLOW light. I thinks this is because I have 22 Free characteristics defined on this Query because this is a very Ad-Hoc query for flexible usage. How can this impact the performance? (that is in fact bad for this query!).

Additional, I changed the query read mode but the yellow light still there!

Query has read mode H - Query to read When you navigate or expand hierarchies

What is the query read mode - usually the query tries to fetch all the data including the free characteristics - that could be the reason for this - try setting the query read mode to read data for successive navigation using RSRT and then see if the same appears.
