Hi All,
Can anyone please let me know the concepts of ordinary depp, special depp, planned depp and unplanned depp?
And in what situations we use above different forms of deppreciation
Thanks
Shravan
SAP Help Portal can give you a good explanation.
Basically ordinary depreciation is what is posted monthly based on the depreciation key assigned.
Special depreciation could be used for example if there is a new tax law that affects assets for a specific period -- and you want to be able to identify it separately.
Unplanned is exactly what it says -- any additional depreciation that isn't based on the depreciation key and period controls.
