DTW version vs SBO version

Hi experts,

Is this possible to work with the DTW v17 and SBO PL23 ? (the right version of DTW for PL23 is 16 but it's buggy).

Or should my customer upgrade to PL29 (version with DTW v17) ?

Is this possible to get an answer from SAP ?

We've worked with DTW of diffrent patch numbers against SAP B1 with a diffrent patch with no problems.

However I think the best thing to do is to always have everything patched up to the same patch level as this is the right way to go about it.

Hi,

After I checked, you must upgrade DTW along with PL of SBO. That's why in the upgrade CD, there are always available DTW setup.

You could try to ask SAP but I think they will suggest you to upgrade the DTW too.

You can use an old version of the DTW with a recent patch of SAP Business One. For example, I am working in SAP 2005 PL29 but I'm still working the DTW of PL11 as this is the only one which is working correctly.
