Change numbers in BOM migration from plant to plant

Hi Guys,

I have to migrate Bom history from a plant to a new plant keeping the history of bom from the first modification to the latest one.

Is it possible to find a function to transfer these informations ?

According to you is it possible to realize a abap program ?

Hi brown,

If this situtation is always prevalent, possibly u could think of a permanent solution like, creating the bom at the client level the first time itself and then extending the same to the required plants using TC CS07.

Note : In these cases the changes to the BoM has to be done at the client level and the same changes will flow to the relevant plants.

I do not believe you can copy the BOM changes history from one plant to the other. The historical data will remain in the original plant while you start afresh in the new plant.
