History of SAP EP

Hi,

I have tried to know the history of SAP EP. Can someone please let me know the origin of SAP EP and the versions that are released till EP 7.0 and the enhancements and additional features done for each release. Also it will be great if you can give me the month/year in which each release is officially released.

Hi,

please check the SAP Help Portal under http://help.sap.com/netweaver --> Prior to SAP NetWeaver --> SAP Enterprise Portal (=<6.0 SP2). Here you find documentation for each version of the Enterprise Portal before SAP NetWeaver 2004. The documentation includes the release notes which give you an overview of the new features with each release.

As of SAP NetWeaver 2004 Enterpise Portal was integrated. Therefore you will find the portal-related release notes in the documentation of SAP NetWeaver 2004 and SAP NetWeaver 7.0.
