Hello all,

I am getting error while trying to import data from BW to BPC cube:-

Error "Cannot Perform Write (Illegal Input) "

The real-time behavior of the infocube is already set to Planning mode in my case and also I have checked the SAP Note 1759399 which did not help.

This error I am getting only in case of one company code , rest working fine.

Could anyone please help me to resolve this issue as could not find the related help.

Hello, Gurus:

I have the same issue, and tried to use input form to input data. It doesn't work. So far, I can only identify the error message"Cannot perform write (ILLEGAL_INPUT)" happens when execute Default logic script, and posting Journals. Can anyone provide solution for this issue. Many thanks.

Hi Ambika,

Could you check as a test if you can submit a data successfully from input schedule into the same model(to the same data intersection as you are loading the data from the package)? You can create a simple input schedule report and test. What is the result?

Please provide more detail on the system(version of BPC, EPM Addin), and the step by step detail workflow from Data Manager screen.

Hi Hitomi,

sorry for the late reply.

I did try to save data via input form using the same context and data got successfully saved. but via DMP when trying to import data getting the error as mentioned.

we are using BPC 10.0 SP 23.

let me know if any other details required from my side.
