Help required: workflow

Dear All,

My requirement is to send the work item to superior of the user, if the user does not

act on it within three days. This is the standard credit memo request workflow.

Now, I have modelled the missed deadline in such a way that I loop back to the workitem step

but replace the rule input parameter with the manager user name, so that the next level manager

is retrieved. But now, the problem is that the value that I binded back from the rule is not

proper, when I use the modelled step. With out this modelling, the rule result is binded back perfectly

to the workflow. Please advise.
