Hii Hari,

Yes Of course you can delete the created Workflow.

You should go to transaction PFTC_DEL

Now select the task type as Workflow Template and in the Task--Provide the task No.

while providing task name, provide number only(Better u take f4 and select the desired Workflow template)

Now click the delete tab.....Thats it....U r done...Itz no more in the world....[:)]

Hope it solves ur query....

Dont forget to reward points

Ashish

Hi Ashish,

I am curious how you are able to delete a local workflow this way. The local workflow doesn't have a task number so you couldn't enter it or select it.

Maybe Hari could shed some light as he says his problem is solved (although I think his complete workflow definition is deleted and not his local workflow).

I am here to learn also so I am looking forward to an answer....

Hii martin,

Of course a local WF has a no.

You go to swdd and build a WF. So in the Information area(left-top) you get the WF no.

Use it in PFTC_DEL...

Now any prob.. tell me...

Oh you mean a subworkflow. That is something else. A local workflow is inserted in a workflow in the builder, but it is like a block. When you insert it, it appears in the right top hand corner of the workflow definition. You have to start it with a local event. So there is no number, I checked for the local workflows I used in a workflow.

Check this <a href="/people/ginger.gatling/blog/2005/11/28/new-workflow-features-in-netweaver-04--local-workflows for more info.

Yaa Martin,

Agreed.....

I misinterpreted it.

But local workflow, you r directly able to delete it, simply as u delete any step.....

Correct me if i m wrong??

Hi Ashish,

I think you are correct, but Hari says it doesn't work. The problem is I don't have a dev system available at the moment to try. Maybe there is a little catch Hari missed. Maybe all the steps should be removed first from the local workflow, or the step which raises the local event should be deleted first.

Martin

You may have to clear the buffer by SWU_OBUF, log-out then try.

Hi hari,

every step in in WF works as a block,

so, select that activity(block) and use delete option .

if useful, reward points,
