Cannot create Hana table via Vora tools interface

Hi SAP community,

I configured my SAP Vora to be connected with a Hana database and I can create Hana tables with the SQL Editor of Vora Tools.

However, when I want to use the Modeler interface, Vora tools can search Hana tables by giving table and/or schema name, but after validating it doesn't put the table information into the form.

Thanks in advance for your help.

How did you configure your Vora to be connected with your HANA instance? I can only add HANA tables by using the SQL Console of the Vora Tools, but not in the Modeler. The Modeler shows me the error

Connection Failed: Error connecting to HANA database: no default connection available

Of course I get this error, becuase I didn't setup anything about my HANA instance (in the SQL console I give all the needed parameters in the sql command).

Where and how to setup this default HANA Connection? Thank you!

Do you get any kind of error message? If you refresh the table list in the tools interface, does the table appear?

Hello Jason,

Thanks for your response.

The Web UI doesn't show any error message, I tried to see if something was raised in the web development console but nothing neither (Edge, IE 11, Firefox 54, Chrome 60).

About the table list, if you refer to the "Find & Add Hana table" window then yes the requested table appears either I put the table name, schema name or both so the request is correctly sent.

I tried to force input in the "Hana Object" field via some web tools but no clue so far...

Best regards,
