system data container in test configuration (eCATT)?

Hi All

I am using a standart test script "Create and change master recipe in PP-PI (all options)". I have created a test cnfiguration for this script in which I have specified some variants. This script resides on the same server on which creation or updation is to be done. So is it necessary to create a target system and system data container in test configuration? I am not using test data container .I am novice in eCATT.

This is urgent for me . Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated .

Hello Pranay,

If you're running the script on the same system, you don't need to create a "target system" and "system data container". You can just leave the field empty and it will run in the same system.
