Hi,

One of our Master data attribute load is failing with the following error message.

Value '05ｱｻﾋ ' for characteristic Z_PPL contains invalid characters

As you see there are some Japanese characters when it is trying to load into Char string?

Can we load such characteristics?

Where can we check which all Languages are installed in the system?

If we want to maintain these to the Special characteristics in RSKC transaction?

Can we enter these characteristics using English keyboard?

Try to use the transaction code : rskc

include the special characteristics and run. It might help u.

Hi,

We are ble to load the same data into our QA system, but not in the production.

we have the following characters maintained in RSKC in bith QA and Prod.

ALL_CAPITAL,`_!@$%^&()_+=/?-[]';./?>,<:"{}|\1234567890/+-#

But we have problem loading only in production.

Ajay,

you didn't have those special charecters in Q environment. Try to put in RSKC, if you couldn't able to slove your issue, change in PSA and load data again.

You can work with Hex Decimal Values of these charecters. make these as ' ' if possible.

Hi Ajay

Some time in the run time environ ment field values are moved to junk chars .

In this case even if u r traying to place the same char in RSKC also it wont

accept..

So in this can just edit that particular error record like in the ordinary process in

the PSA.other wise if its a master data u need to select the option error handling

in the info pak and rerun the info pak..

Hi RMK,

Selecting error handling will not update the error records.

This is a master data load. This data come from the custom datasource,bulit on the transparent table.

As we have added a new field to this table we have deleted the data sourec and recreated it so that the new appended field is visible in the extract stucture of the data source.

But the error that we are receiving is for a different Field which we were able to load and now creating an error message.

If some faced similar problem please through somelight.

Error message "Record 7204 :ZJLEG_PPL : Data record 7204 ('R30000607203 '): Version '05&#65393;&#65403;&#65419; ' is not valid "

hi, to update the characters in RSKC, jus try Ctrl C and Ctrl V

Hi

Regarding the language installation m not sure where can u find it but one point of hint i can give u is try logging into the system with language as japanese where u are finding the errors , i mean we generally log by writing EN for english. put japanese (Jn or Jp wat ever the code is for japanese) and u will come to know if japanese is installed into ur system or not as per the logging info u get.
