SAP Oracle Database Not Committing Changes

Former Member

Hi,

I've just installed ECC 5.0 sitting on an Oracle Database. Shortly after creating a new client for the purposes of creating test data, and performing some basic configuration, I've noticed that the database isn't storing anything I create.

e.g. I go to transaction XK01, create a new vendor - when done, SAP reports that the vendor has been created successfully, but, when I check table LFA1 through SE16, the table is still empty.

It's as if the change isn't somehow being committed to the database.

Any ideas where to start looking to solve this - I don't particularly have much in the way of a BASIS background, and am solely reliant on the SAP support portal (including this forum) for assistance.

Many thanks in advance,

Tim

Do into DB02 and see if your tablespaces are online.

No, the vendor doesn't exist anywhere, not in XK02 or XK03.

Can you open the vendor you just created using XK02?
