Is there any method to cancel marking allowance in CK24?

By accident, we ticked a wrong cost marking variance in CK24 and released one material cost estimate.

And now, system tells cancel marking allowance not possible.

It's quite a disaster to us, as it means, we have to work under wrong variance for a whole year? It's vital for PA report.

I have checked old thread, all told it's not possible to reset the variance again...

But they were old threads... since it has been in 2017, is there anything new for current new era? Has someone already found some method to reverse marking allowance variance?
