How to increase email SEND RATE performance on Hybris Marketing (AWS SES)I?

Hello,

we are using AWS SES to execute our Campaign and it is configured as follows:

1) AWS SES send rate : 150/second / 5.000.000 daily / IP Warmup : around 25%

(Our scenario foresees a 3M emails a day, currently we are sending around 150k due to performance issues)

The problem we have is that our email/second rate is stuck at around 2 - 4 emails a second. We tried:

- Doubling up HANA Appliance;

- Increasing work processes;

- Redesigning HANA views following best practices/star join(we have a co-deployment scenario with SAP CRM)

- Running the campaign with an email with custom fields from HANA view

- Running the email campaign with an email without custom fields from HANA view

- Running the email without customization fields from Golden Record;

And no matter what we do, or if we are executing a real campaign on Production System or Running a test on Quality System, these rates doesn't change at all.

Is there any kind of limitation or customizing configuration that we are unaware off? The only configuration related to performance that we found is set to deliver 10 work processes with 1000 emails each. We changed that and did some experiences but the send rate also didn't change.

Does anyone have any clue what the problem may be?

Best Regards,

Rafael

      Will do! Thank you for your answer.

      Just an update - we were able to increase the rate to 30/second on the Quality environment and 11/second on production environment. It's a start.

      Best regards,

      Rafael
