C4C reporting - automated export of report(-tables) as csv-files

Hello experts,

I've created some reports, which contain data in a table-views.

These data needs to be exported in an automated way as plain csv-files. These files should contain header-line, data-lines and use semicolon.

Option 1:

I've tried the BROADCASTING, but in this case the csv-file contains a lot of additional data (red area), which corrupts the csv-file.

Option 2:

I have also tried to download the data from the dashboard-view as csv-file. There everything is just fine!!! This is exactly how I need it.

The only issue with option 2 is: there is no way to implement it in an automated way, it seems. Since I always need to click that way to get the plain csv-file.

I need this csv-file beeing saved on daily basis, by the system.

Does anyone know an workaround?

Hi Nik,

Since the recipient might not be aware of the report details it is included in the file when you broadcast any report. Currently this is the system behavior. There is no automated process as of now to export the report daily apart from using broadcasting feature. Downloading directly from the report is the activity which needs to be performed by the user whenever required.

Other users read the proposed enhancements and vote on their desirability. Our developers monitor this database and try to incorporate these idea's into a future release.
