Hi,

It is possible to reopen a previously closed period. However, it is not

something that we generally recommend because there is a possibly that

inconsistencies can occur. If you decide to proceed with the process

please review the documentation of program RMMMINIT (SE38)

Please refer to the SAP notes 487381 & 70545 & 369637 in relation to

this program.

Hi,

Use transaction code MMRV to check, which period is currently open. This should help you to identify which periods are closed.

Thanks

thanks , i guess we close MMV first and then Fi , can the MM period be re-opened once it's closed unlike the FI period.

Hi,

Once a MM period is closed it cannot be reopened like FI periods. It is not a good Business practice to open closed periods.

Normally in MM always two periods are open and as per the settings made postings can be made in the last period of previous fiscal year.

Thanks

Murali.
