Infotype set up - Copy

Hi all,

I have set an infotype as copy. It is not proposed, only copy.

This is because it is a shared infotype for employees with more than one

job. Thus when a change is made it updates the same infotype on all employee numbers.

It is infotype 0065 (GB TAX)

The problem I now have is that when creating a new employment for an employee, the infotype is brought into the action and has dates from the beginning of the employment and it becomes very messy.

The infotype is definitely not included in the actions infogroups and I basically do not want this infotype brought through on the new starter process and done separately.

Is the infotype not called in dynamic actions by any chance ? (T588Z) It could also (but unlikely) be called in one of your user exits like ZXPADU02 or ZXPADU01. If not why don't you get an ABAPER to debug your transaction to find when it's being called ?
