1.Earl RA means from which date retro should run for that employee

suppose if it is 01/01/2007 then if u have done any changes on and after that date retro will run in the current payroll.if u done changes before that retro will never happen

2.it shows the last payroll run for that employee

3.this specifies upto which date payroll should run

4.this perno will not take into account while running payroll

hai

earliest retrodate is when a pay roll is run till what date u want the system to check for arears for previous period.

run pay roll upto is suppose u want for some employee need to be stopped from pay roll process after certain date u can give this date.

accounted up to means the latest date for which the payroll has been run for him.

we generally lock employees from pay roll process say when an employee goes on sabbatical/long leave during which the salary not paid.

It is the date in the past upto which the system allows you to make Matser data changes to the employee's records.. When you run payroll, retor is run automatically up to this date.

No they aren't the same.. Run Payroll upto field is used fro terminated employees only.. ie you would like to continue them in payroll even after they let the co to settle dues etc..

> 3. What is Do not account after column?

literally, the last date upto which payroll is run for an employee

> 4. What situation we tick personal number locked?

you tick it to exclude an employee from Payroll

P.S. An F1 on these fields in your system will tell exactly the same...
