Can you refer report with transaction code S_P00_07000139 and with movement type usage classify further your needed report.

Why you wanted post accounting document in closed period?

    In your case, you try

Carry out Physical inventory and bring back material stock your wanted quantity

    or

You can consumed that stock now with current period

If the stock is in the warehouse and not consumed then where is the problem that the project is closed

If it is project stock then do a transfer posting to own stock, movement type is in the F4 list.

Did you already try? Has there been an error message?

    • physical inventory is basic knowledge and well explained in help.sap.com and various blogs and answers here in the community, please search.

Also I doubt that you succeed with a physical inventory, I expect the same error as shown above.

There is probably not any alternative to re-opening this WBS.

Usually SAP checks if there is stock when one tries to close a WBS. There has been a program error in 46c which allowed to close a WBS without that SAP checked the stock (481898 - No check on project stock when completing WBS element)

IF you can link your situation to the time of this bug then you can ask SAP Support if they have an alternative way to remove project stock from a project which is closed.
