hi gurus,

I have issue regarding my present project where my client is asking to measure or capture all the necessary information regarding steam, power and water. Like for example Steam is produced through boiler so my client want to know the efficiency of boiler and how much power it has to took to generate certain amount of steam. My confusion is that steam as such it is not solid product which can have weight or size. so please suggest me how i can measure or capture the details for raw material which will be used for generating steam and which department has used this steam and how much they have consumed, how we can gauge cost of steam.

Please help me in this regards. right ans. will get good reward points.

Hi Srinivas,

Make use of workcenter in that standarr value

you can do all that with messureing instrument and ask client complete detail so that you can form BOM and routing accordingly

Thanx For your reply.

what i understood from your reply is u asks to create one material code for steam,power & water & to make bom & master recipe.

but in which material type i have to create materials, & most important is there is no stock available for steam ,power etc...

so , how to configure all these?

Hi Srinivas,

If power is selling items then create FERT for power and rest semi finished and raw material.

for the input of raw material how much stream produced ( semifinished product)

like that you can map it
