SAP Business Bydesign PGI(Post Goods Issue)

Former Member

We encounter a problem

1.We hope that Outbound Delivery->Delivery proposal -> PGI(Post Goods Issue)->Delivery date can be changed by SO Posting date by default. The actual execution date on Warehouse confirmation and Goods Issue for Customer journal ledge document should also be the same as the outbound delivery.

2.Or can we create an action like PGIInBackground function and also change Delivery date

THX

Hi Usama,

Did you get any solution to create outbound delivery to SAP ByDesign via webservice API call.?

Please let me know if you have any solution for that..

It would be very helpful for me.

HI Anand,

We have to create the Outbound Document in the SO, by Automation, we aren't using the 3PL Provider, for that purpose we have to use the SAP Business Bydesign PGI(Post Goods Issue).

Can you please us out, which WebService we can use?

Thanks

Dear KengHao,

You can use after modify or before save action of outbound delivery xbo to assign the SO posting date to delivery date.

Dear KengHao,

The first query where you have mentioned you would want the OD --> Delivery Proposal while performing Post Goods Issue should have the same date as the SO Posting date? Please correct my understanding here is wrong. If the sales order posting date, the delivery proposal date and the outbound delivery shipment date has to be the same date, then it can only happen in the below case.

The sales order is created on a particular and the items in the order are delivered to your customer on the same date. (0 days shipping duration).

If not there will be difference in dates between Sales order, Delivery Proposal and Outbound Delivery date.

To answer your second question, yes you can always modify the system behavior to suit your business needs. I would also love to understand your business use case here as well.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Anand
