Possible to automate when Predictive Analytics on Linux Server and Predictive Factory is on Windows?

Predictive Factory is only available in Windows Server and Predictive analytics is available on both windows as well as Linux. But in our project landscape we are using Linux server so is it possible to automate the flow of project i.e. we are taking data from HANA and design a model into PA and then transferring it to PF?

If not then is there any other way which is possible to automate the things?

Hi Sunny, now I am a little bit puzzled because you now seem to imply that you have the possibility to install PF on a Windows server. If such is the case, the flow is the following:

- create your model in Expert Analytics

- export the model chain as a zip file

- place the zip file in Factory server

- automate the model retrain/application in Factory

You will have to define the connection to the HANA server from Factory.

As I mentioned before a equivalent flow is to use Automated Analytics as you can create & automate time series, classification & regression models directly within Factory since 3.2.

In the Expert flow, the PA server is not needed. You just need Desktop + HANA Server + Factory.

Hope this helps,

Kind regards

Antoine

It Means if I can install PF on Windows Server than I can connect my PF to HANA that are on 2 different servers?
