Will the Lumira Server physically store data???

We have configured a Lumira server on top of business Objects BI Platform. Version of BO is 4.2 SP3 and version of Lumira is 1.31.3 build 127.

We have created a SAP Lumira Story board on top pf Bex query with Download data from SAP Business Warehouse as Data Source.

My Question is if i change the month prompt in the Story board, will it go back and hit the bex query or will it hit the Lumira server.

If it is hitting Lumira server, Where and how the data get stored?

Please help me on this.

Download data from SAP Business Warehouse as Data Source means that essentially you have a document with saved data. So, say you have data for 1st 6 months of the year. Now, if you have an input control on your story, it will let you select moths from those six months. If you want to get data for August, you will have to refresh the data. Note that a database side parameter will not prompt - unless you again refresh the data. You also have the option of saving the Document without data or enable the "refresh on Open" option. In this way the document will refresh as soon as you load it up. Last note; Document hitting a database with parameters cannot be scheduled.
