We want to close the material ledger on the 20th of every month and release the ML actual prices of the current period to the next period in advance on the 20th of the current period itself.
However, since we set the new prices validity date beginning of next period we cannot release the prices on the 20th before the ML post closing. The system says the validity date of the new prices has not reached yet because it compares the validity date against the current system/calendar date.
This causes the business to wait till the 1st of the next period before releasing the price which is not acceptable because they are not able to post goods movements into the new period due to this delay.
Therefore, is there a way to release the prices in advance instead of waiting till the validity period of the prices arrive?
