Storeage Location for Material Master

Hi All,

Is there anyway to change or extend SLOC for materials already created, by using MMSC i can do one by one, but there is some 2000 materails need to be extended, because while uploading material master the sloc was entered wrong.

hey, have you tried MM17? here you have the option to change storage location for ALL materials belonging to a particulat plant.

Select materials for 1 plant that have worng Storage location, chnage the Sloc for these, then you can repeat for second plant.

but the storage location to be changed shoudl be same for all materials.

Dear Seema,

I was thinking of suggesting the same. But, I have one doubt, in MM17 I think you can replace a value but not extend a value. Meaning, if your storage location is already extended to say two different storage locations and now you need to replace one with another MM17 can be used.

However, it is only my doubt and just trying to get it clarified. I think it is better to use it and then come to a conclusion.

In MM17 or MASS we cannot extend SLOC, i have tried this, one way is to run LSMW for MMSC i'm looking if any other possibility.

You CAN extend the Sloc view or even change numerous values using MM17 - ( MASS-BUS1001) as long as the change is the same. Give me your e-mail id and I will send some documnetation I had put together for my users here.
